What’s going on here?

Who is this apfergus person and what is with all this the slow trickle of blogging? A.P. is a graduate student studying high energy particle astrophysics. He has a lovely wife, an obnoxious cat, and frequently makes perfectly functional objects cooler to himself but more annoying to everyone else. People seem mostly tolerant of him anyway. He doesn’t know nearly as much about quality coffee or wine as he lets on.
